State Senate Swearing In

First of all a late congratulations to dad. We are all so proud of him and still are in awe at how he does it all and still has all the time in the world for us. In January we made our first trip to the capital to see dad get sworn in. It was a great experience and the kids were so excited. BrinLee has been grandpa's number one fan. She has decided she is going to be the state senator when she grows up or should I say she pretty much thinks she already is since grandpa is. During his election she would call people and tell them to vote grandpa for the senate. Her and Easton loved helping grandpa with his campaigning especially throwing candy in the parades and taking pictures with him for his brochures. Unfortunatley our camera battery died so we didn't get to take as many pictures on the day dad was sworn in. The kids are slowly adjusting having grandpa gone all week. The day we got home from the swearing in BrinLee had a melt down that she just wanted grandpa. Then the next day we got in the car to take her to preschool and she was in back sobbing that she missed and wanted grandpa. Luckily we had a picture in the car that she carried to school with her that made her feel a little better. Easton is constantly asking to call pa. Thanks dad for taking the time for all of their phone calls and always coming to see them. Grandma of course is wonderful and is my life saver always helping me with the kids and store whenever I need her. The kids have missed having her leave every week too, but luckily she isn't gone the whole week so they have their mid week sleep over usually. Thanks for being the greatest parents and grandparents in the world.

I'm glad you took pictures it's hard to miss all of those things. Braxton is getting big he looks like an infant not a little newborn.I love the blessing pictures too they turned out really cute. You need to send me some, maybe when mom comes out she could bring them.

I just saw that you had a blog and thought I would have a look. I hope you don't mind. I can't believe that you have three babies! It seems like yesterday that you were in Halifax serving your mission. You have a sweet family; your little ones are so cute!
